For a music artist, the release of a debut EP is the culmination of an intense and personal journey. And for this project, Kevin had a vision for how he wanted the cover artwork to look and feel. He brought us a hand-drawn sketch of a bench, which had personal meaning to him, and asked us to incorporate it into a cover with a hand-made and genuine feel to it, which reflected his work on the EP.

With the bench as the focal point, we worked a lot on how to style it just right to make it feel both drawn and realistic and also personal and inviting. We accomplished this by adding fonts that feel handwritten and a color palette that’s warm and familiar. It’s a perfect mix of elements that feels tastefully homemade and reflects who Kevin is as a talented artist.
